Key Design Elements: New building, call centre, N+1 generator and UPS, B stream standby for critical, density 1/9 sqm

First National Bank (FNB) through ERIS property development extended the call centre requirement for FNB by building a new Contact Centre that will cater for 1000 call centre staff. The new building situated on the existing campus was designed such that services and employees could interact throughout the campus. This was accomplished by extending the campus and providing pedestrian walkways, a bridge link and road connectivity. The electrical services for the building, N+1 generator for 100% back-up of the building and N+1 UPS for all equipment were provided. In addition to this, a separate B-supply generator and UPS were installed for all critical IT and security requirements.
